Fall in Love ❤️ … Or a ‘Mess’ 💔

We don’t get closure all the time, and it is not required either. We have to learn to live and love.

What’s life without Love? I believe most of the things we do, the people we meet, the food we eat, etc. all because we love it. Love is there in everything. You can’t just define Love; it’s just a feeling. Of course, Love isn’t always about romance. Pick any relationship you have; whether it’s your brother or sister, your parents, your friends. If you have an emotional bonding, then you are in Love with that person.

I always have my friends as my top priority in my life. There are numerous reasons for this; let’s skip those reasons for now and focus on the topic. I believe friendship is a beautiful relationship and a perfect form of Love. From strangers to buddies, the journey faces multiple numbers of trials.

We become so close to a stranger that we start to share everything that’s happening in our life. Some of these friendships turn in to a romantic relationship.

The main problem that we encounter is until before being romantically involved, everything seems so lovely. Then, after that, suddenly, expectation comes into the picture.

When we are in a selfless mindset, we barely get hurt. But expectations hurt very severely; it’s painful. If in any situation, it leaves a scar in our mind, we start to hate the feeling of Love. We start to judge every relationship or stop caring about somebody else’s feelings.

You cannot stop loving someone even though it is unrequited. If it was just lust, you can, by staying away. But if you have truly loved that person, that Love will never fade away.

We very often misjudge incompatibility with Love. We lose many people in our life because of this, but we think that we are out of Love. We find ourselves in a ‘Mess’.

In life, we will have a lot of ups and downs, but we shouldn’t stop loving.

Few things to keep in mind to avoid the mess:

  • Love yourself.
  • Be someone you would love.
  • Love deeply. Don’t hold back.
  • Give enough time. It’s worth it.

I want to quote one of the most heart touching lines from the movie, “New Year’s Eve (2011)”:

// Sometimes it feels like there are so many things that we can’t control. But its important to remember the things that we can… Like forgiveness, second chances, fresh starts.

Because the one thing that turns the world from a lonely place to a beautiful place is Love. Love in any of its forms. Love gives us hope. //

However, it’s my personal opinion. What about you? Any thoughts on Love you’d like to share?
